#20 UMass Rallies For Dramatic 5-4 Nine-Inning Victory Over Charlotte In A-10 Semi'sJunior Whitney Mollica's walk-off RBI-single in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the 20th-ranked Massachusetts softball team a dramatic 5-4 nine-inning victory over third-seeded Charlotte in the A-10 Tournament Semifinals on Friday afternoon in Charlotte, N.C. Sophomores Sarah Reeves and Whitney Williams each homered as the Minutewomen rallied from behind three-times in a game that lasted over two and a half hours. With the win, the Minutewomen advance to the A-10 Championship Final on Saturday at 12 p.m. The championship game on Saturday will air on CBS-College Sports Television (tape-delay) at 8 p.m., but fans can listen live for free at UMassathletics.com. Due to the extended length of play in the loser's bracket, UMass' opponent in the championship game is yet to be determined. No. 3 seeded Charlotte will play No. 4 seed Fordham Saturday at 10 a.m. in the second semifinal with the winner facing the Minutewomen for the A-10 Championship at Noon.
